CAV8 Security Group operate within UK legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to private security services. We prioritise compliance because it protects clients and the public.
Licensing
Where services fall under regulated security activity, personnel hold the appropriate SIA licence in accordance with the Private Security Industry Act 2001. We do not deploy operatives for licensable activity without appropriate licensing. This includes SIA Close Protection (CP) licensed operatives for CP assignments.
Workforce Screening
We apply screening and vetting procedures aligned to recognised industry standards, including principles reflected within BS7858 security screening frameworks.
ACS Alignment
Our operating model is structured in alignment with the standards of the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS), including:
- Supervisory controls
- Workforce screening standards
- Complaints handling processes
- Governance and accountability mechanisms
Data Protection
Personal data is handled in accordance with:
- UK GDPR
- Data Protection Act 2018
We collect only what is necessary to assess and deliver services.

Boundaries
We do not provide:
- Unlawful surveillance
- Intimidation or coercive services
- Any activity outside UK law
